The South Dakota Chamber reminds members to check out the redesigned version of our Governor's Giant Vision Competition website, southdakotagiantvision.com.

We developed a fresh new look for the homepage with more user-friendly navigation. Enhanced site structure, new navigation elements and related links make information easy to find. Our special thanks go to Brad and Debbie Wheeler in Lemmon for sponsoring the development of this new website.

As a special feature on the site, we're building a calendar of statewide entrepreneurial activities and encourage you to send us your local event details for inclusion — business plan and idea competitions, links to your 1 Million Cups events, informational sessions on financing, etc. Our goal is to help South Dakotans be well-prepared for competing in Giant Vision and for being successful business owners.

The purpose of the Giant Vision competition is to ignite the entrepreneurial spirit in South Dakotans, assist with start-up funds and provide a format where competitors can meet and explore their ideas with judges, investors, representatives from various assistance organizations, economic development professionals and successful business owners.  Ultimately, Giant Vision exists to create new jobs and grow the South Dakota economy.
