Business Day at the Legislature

Business Day reflects our role as a leading voice of business by bringing local business and community leaders to Pierre to advocate for sound business policy, to inform members of legislative activities and issues, to participate in the Business Caucus, to strengthen relationships with policymakers and the business community, and recognize business and/or legislative. 


We will continue the time format of early afternoon to early evening and offer an online participation option.

Legislators are hosted at the banquet by local chambers of commerce and the South Dakota Chamber of Commerce and Industry.  The Chamber Board of Directors hosts members of the cabinet and constitutional officers.
