Description
Business Day at the Legislature is returning as an in-person event with the annual issues briefing and Business Caucus and the traditional reception with South Dakota's elected officials. There is an online option for participating in the briefing and Business Caucus.
The purpose of Business Day reflects the South Dakota Chamber's role as a leading voice of business by bringing local business and community leaders to Pierre and providing opportunities to learn about and discuss current legislative, regulatory and ballot issues. During Business Caucus, attendees vote on the same issues that legislators are debating. The collective results of Caucus are delivered to each legislator the next day, demonstrating the voice of business and industry to state policy makers.
