CHAMBER OF COMMERCE EXECUTIVES (CCE) SCHOLARSHIP APPLICATION

A financial assistance program for the professional development of CCE Members.

Members in good standing of the CCE may apply for scholarship assistance to attend industry-specific training programs and conferences such as, but not limited to, Institute for Organization Management, MACE and ACCE. Other programs may quality. The CCE Board of Directors will make a final decision on eligibility and scholarship awards.

To apply for the Fall 2024 scholarship program, please review the following rules, complete the form and submit by the September 13, 2024 deadline.

RULES
- Candidates/organizations must be members in good standing (membership dues are current)
- Candidates must satisfy the board that they plan to make organization management their career
- CCE members in good standing may receive only one scholarship during a calendar year.
- Submit the application by the deadline
- If a candidate is not a paid chief executive, the application must be accompanied by a letter of approve from the chief executive
- If the candidate is a paid executive, the application must be co-signed by the board chair/president of their organization, and confirm a commitment to continuing training beyond the first year
- Any applicants who do not technically meet all of the criteria may be considered by the Board on a case-by-case basis

Scholarships are offered based on the size of the operational budget. The following operating budget formular was voted in by the membership, effective December 2015.

- If your annual budget is less than or equal to $300,000, you may apply for a scholarship during each year of the designated program, per individual/organization.
- If your annual budget is $300,001 to $750,000, you may apply for a scholarship for two years of the designated program, per individual/organization.
- If your annual budget is $750,001 and greater, you may apply for one year of the designated program, per individual/organization.

Scholarship recipients will be required to report on their training experience at the earliest possible conference, either in person or in writing.

Three $500 scholars will be available twice per year, in conjunction with bi-annual conferences
Two $100 travel stipends will be available twice per year for the bi-annual conferences
