Business Day provides an opportunity for our members and for community and business leaders from across the state to meet in Pierre and have a voice in the legislative process.

2017 marks the 41st anniversary of Business Day at the Legislature. Following our format of holding the event during President?s Day week, Thursday, February 23rd is this year?s date. We are continuing the popular condensed format that makes travel easier for a one day trip.
We are pleased to announce POET as the sponsor of the luncheon program, featuring South Dakota Secretary of Agriculture Mike Jaspers.
The Business Caucus is underwritten by 3M Company and US Bank and sponsored by NorthWestern Energy and Black Hills Energy.
Legislators are hosted at the banquet by local chambers of commerce and the South Dakota Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The Chamber Board of Directors hosts members of the cabinet and constitutional officers.
